This Anatomy & Physiology course is 54 hours. The anatomy section of this course offers an introduction to the gross and microscopic structure of the human body; emphasis on the structure and role of the tissues, organs, and organ systems. The physiology section of this course offers an introduction to the physiological mechanisms of the human body that can lead to homeostasis; emphasis on the interrelationship of the cells, tissues, organs, and systems. This course is designed to meet the prerequisites for the Vocational Nursing class. Individuals must pass CASAS assessment before enrolling in class.
