ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Sutter County Adult Education offers preparation classes for the HiSET® exam. (Also known as  HiSET®). This class is for students who want to earn a high school equivalency certificate. The class is a self-paced learning environment in an instructional lab setting. Students receive individual designed lessons, as well as whole group and small group direct instruction.

Most students begin taking the HiSET® exam after 4 weeks of the preparation class. After 40 hours of class time, students receive a $50 off voucher to register for the HiSET® exam through Sutter County Adult Education.
