Adult Education is a public education program offering classes for adults 18 and older. Sutter County Adult Education provides educational opportunities and services to equip adults with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively as citizens, workers, parents, family, and community members. Our instructional programs ensure that adults have the education and skills required in a competitive economy for a better quality of life.
Sutter County Adult Education provides classes to:
Earn a high school diploma
Prepare to take the High School Equivalency Exam
Improve reading or math skills
Learn English as a Second Language (ESL)
Learn or upgrade basic computer skills (Introduction to Computers)
Career Technical Education (CTE) classes prepare students to enter specific career areas. CTE courses are geared toward meeting employers’ needs while providing students an opportunity to develop skills necessary for them to become competitive in today’s job market.
