Test Day Information
You will need to:
- Arrive at least 20 minutes early. Test begins promptly
- Bring a valid state photo ID or passport
- No cell phones allowed in testing room
- No food or drinks
- No personal calculators
- Acceptable and valid ID as required by California. Make sure your name on your ID appears EXACTLY as it does on your profile you created in your HiSET® account when you scheduled your HiSET exam.
- You need to be a resident of California to take the HiSET® exam in California so you need to provide proof of residency.
